Taoyaomen highway-railway bridge under construction in China’s Zhejiang

The second layer of concrete pouring for the foundation cap of Pier 5 of the bridge, a crucial cross-sea passage connecting Cezi Island and Fuchi Island of the Zhoushan Islands, was completed on Saturday, marking the transition of the bridge construction into the main tower phase. The 1,531-meter-long bridge, with a main span of 666 meters, serves as a key project of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway.
