The capital’s metro has prepared a new exhibition for passengers together with the contemporary art fair “Art Russia”. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

You can see the exhibition in the passage between the Big Circle and Sokolnicheskaya metro lines at the Prospekt Vernadskogo station and in the lobby of the escalator gallery at the Vorobyovy Gory station.

Among the works are “Game in the Night” by Vlad Loktev, “Time for Fun” by Elena Romanovskaya, “Daytime Promenade” by Vyacheslav Krivtsov, “In the Eyes of the Beholder” by Dasha Pustovoit, “Silence” by Margarita Ivanova, “Full Moon” by Irina Zaitseva. In addition, passengers will see photographs of paintings by other authors, such as Anatoly Akuye, Oleg Mikhailov, Elizaveta Vasilenko, Tatyana Kirikova. The exhibition can be visited until April 7 inclusive.

Reproductions of paintings selected for the Art Russia contemporary art fair are being exhibited at the Moscow Metro sites for the fourth time. Art Russia is the largest Russian contemporary art fair and international art forum, which appeared in 2020. The events annually bring together gallery owners and independent artists, collectors and art market experts at one site in the center of Moscow. Over the past six years, 134 galleries and 741 artists have been represented at the fair, and more than 150 thousand people have visited it during this time.
