BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) — The opening ceremony of the Made in Russia festival and fair was held in the city of Harbin on Saturday.
Food products, drinks and other types of products from 35 regions of Russia are presented to residents of the administrative center of Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China and its guests. In particular, amber products from Russia are being demonstrated in Harbin for the first time, the Zhongxinshe news agency reports.
The fair area is more than 10 thousand square meters. Visitors to the event were offered to taste apple pie, blueberry juice and a cocktail. You can place an order for delivery of Russian goods on the main e-commerce platforms.
The fair had a special area dedicated to demonstrating achievements in the field of information technology and the Russian gaming industry.
Currently, the Chinese market is seeing a growth in demand for Russian goods. The Made in Russia festival and fair provides Chinese consumers and potential partners with a wide range of high-quality Russian products, which stimulates the development of bilateral cooperation, noted Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the Russian Export Center (REC).
As part of the festival-fair, business negotiations and meetings between entrepreneurs from both sides took place.
Previously, REC held four Made in Russia festivals and fairs in China. The first fair was held from late January to early February 2024 in the cities of Shenyang and Dalian in Liaoning Province in northeastern China, the second in May 2024 in Harbin, the third in November 2024 in Chengdu in Sichuan Province, and the fourth in Shenyang earlier this year. -0-
