NANJING, June 7 (Xinhua) — Chinese State Councilor Shen Yiqin has called for strengthening the training of skilled talent and ensuring employment and entrepreneurship for college graduates and other youth to promote high-quality and full employment.
She made the remarks during a tour of Suzhou, Wuxi and Nanjing in east China’s Jiangsu Province from Wednesday to Friday to survey the employment situation and improve vocational skills.
Shen Yiqin learned about the current situation of the employment sector through various visits, and called for improving the quality and focus of work in implementing large-scale professional development programs, and cultivating high-quality professionals.
According to her, it is necessary to effectively use public service agencies and market organizations in a unified manner, provide more accurate and effective employment services, and intensify assistance in finding employment for groups of the population experiencing difficulties in this area.
