Mazambi Mukamba Christian, known professionally as Chrisman, is a music producer, rapper, songwriter and DJ from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He moved to Uganda in 2019 where he was introduced to the Nyege Nyege Collective, a Uganda-based group that releases underground music and organizes music festivals.
Uganda is the largest refugee-hosting country in Africa, with over 1.8 million refugees and asylum seekers, mainly from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan and South Sudan. The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and partners continue to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to refugees in partnership with the Ugandan Government.
