NEW DELHI, June 15 (Xinhua) — A helicopter flying from Dehradun to Kedarnath crashed near Gaurikunda in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, local media reported on Saturday, citing police sources.
There were reportedly five or six people on board the helicopter when it crashed. The weather in the Kedarnath valley was extremely bad.
Rescue teams were rushed to the scene to search for survivors. –0–
