Since the beginning of this year, specialists from the city services complex have repaired more than 6.3 thousand entrances of apartment buildings. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement Petr Biryukov.

“Maintenance of entrances of residential buildings in a standard condition is under special control, therefore a unified approach to the current repair of these premises has been formed in the capital. This year, work is planned in more than 16 thousand entrances, of which over 6.3 thousand have been repaired,” noted Pyotr Biryukov.

The mandatory list of works includes cosmetic repairs – painting of entrance groups, ceilings and walls. If necessary, specialists repair window and door units in halls and vestibules, railings and steps, change signs with floor numbers and lighting fixtures. Craftsmen also remove electrical wiring into special boxes and update the thermal insulation of pipelines, wall cladding, mailboxes and other damaged elements and structures.

Residents are warned in advance about the start dates of repairs – the relevant information is posted on special stands and in public areas.

The measures implemented in the capital for the current repair of entrances of apartment buildings correspond to the goals and objectives of the national project “Infrastructure for life”.
