The construction of the multidisciplinary medical center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia is underway in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Its construction was initially divided into two stages: the first stage was the construction of a treatment and diagnostic building, and the second stage will see the addition of a 236-bed hospital. Work is currently underway to construct the monolithic foundation slab of the future building, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin reported.
“The rapid development of the infrastructure of the reunited regions is an important indicator of their economic growth and well-being. The presence of modern social facilities helps to improve the level of healthcare, education and culture, and improve the demographic situation. For example, in Mariupol, a hospital of the multifunctional medical center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia is being built for residents of the DPR. This is its second stage. Specialists have begun pouring the foundation of the building, after which they will begin installing load-bearing structures and walls,” said Marat Khusnullin. The Deputy Prime Minister added that more than 100 specialists and 9 units of equipment are currently working at the site every day. The construction of the hospital of the modern medical center is being supervised by the Single Customer in the Sphere of Construction PPC.
“By now, specialists have already completed work on the construction of a sand cushion in the volume of more than 3 thousand cubic meters, and the pouring of the foundation slab is actively underway. It is planned to complete all the zero cycle work and begin monolithic work on the construction of the new hospital building in August of this year,” said Karen Oganesyan, General Director of the Unified Customer PPC.
