On June 26, 2025, the IV Eurasian Economic Forum ended in Minsk. As part of the business program, Rector of the State University of Management Vladimir Stroyev spoke at the session “Labor migration as a resource for sustainable economic growth of the EAEU member states: creating conditions for attracting and developing qualified and scientific specialists within the EAEU” with a report “Experience in implementing additional professional education programs in the EAEU space”.
In his speech, Vladimir Stroyev emphasized the importance of creating a common educational space for training management personnel capable of working effectively in the context of integration processes. Particular attention was paid to the activities of the scientific and educational consortium “Eurasian Network University” (ENU), which unites 39 universities from seven countries of the Eurasian space. The State University of Management, as one of the initiators of the consortium, is actively involved in the development and implementation of joint educational programs aimed at improving the qualifications of civil servants and business representatives.
In 2024, with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, 324 quotas were allocated for training in additional professional education programs. The geography of students covered five EAEU countries, including the Republic of Belarus, where 260 students were trained, the Kyrgyz Republic – 37 students, the Republic of Kazakhstan – 10 students, Armenia – 5 students. Among the key programs is “Strategic Planning and Macroeconomic Forecasting: Theoretical Foundations and Practice of the EAEU”, developed jointly with experts from the Belarusian State University of Economics, the Kyrgyz University of Economics named after M. Ryskulbekov and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The final event of the Forum was the plenary session “Strategy for Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects” with the participation of the heads of state of the EAEU member states. During the discussion, issues of digitalization of customs procedures, development of transport infrastructure and harmonization of approaches to labor migration were considered. The participants of the meeting noted the importance of continuing work to deepen economic cooperation.
The State University of Management continues to expand partnerships and introduce innovative training formats that meet the challenges of the time. The experience of the State University of Management in implementing international educational projects confirms its role as a leading university in training managers for the Eurasian space.
