On June 6, the exhibition pavilion “Moscow Model” will host a large-scale cultural program dedicated to Russian Language Day and the 226th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital’s Department of Urban Development Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Interactive tours of Pushkin’s Moscow, lighting shows with poems about the capital, and quizzes with memorable prizes have been prepared for guests. Participation in the festive events is free, no registration is required.
“Citizens and guests of the capital will be able to immerse themselves in the poet’s era with the help of interactive excursions and lighting shows. This is a great way to learn more about the places associated with Pushkin’s life and work in our city. This Friday, guests will learn where the poet was born and lived, in which house he first read his drama “Boris Godunov”, as well as many other interesting facts about Alexander Sergeevich’s stay in the capital. The excursion program is scheduled for 12:10, 14:10, 16:10 and 18:10,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Everyone will be able to test their knowledge of Pushkin’s Moscow at quizzes after the tour. They will be held at 12:40, 14:40, 16:40 and 18:40. For poetry lovers, there will be lighting shows with poems about Moscow, musical accompaniment and bright video footage every half hour from 11:00 to 19:30.
You can visit the Moscow Model pavilion free of charge from 10:00 to 20:00 daily, except Mondays.
