Specialists from the city services complex will equip the buildings of 51 schools with architectural and artistic lighting. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement Petr Biryukov.
“As part of the large-scale modernization program “My School”, this year we will continue the events to equip the buildings of the capital’s schools with architectural and artistic lighting. It will be received by 51 educational facilities. Earlier, as part of a pilot project, lighting decorated the facades of four schools,” noted Pyotr Biryukov.
On each building, specialists from JSC “OEK” will install from 300 to 400 energy-saving LED lamps emitting cold or warm white light. Each project is developed individually to prevent both excessive and insufficient lighting.
Correctly selected lighting allows you to competently accentuate the details and elements of buildings, creating a single space. In addition, lighting makes the territory safer in the evening and at night.
Over the past 13 years, the level of illumination in Moscow has doubled, and the number of buildings with architectural and artistic illumination has quadrupled. In total, the capital is now illuminated by more than one million lamps, while energy consumption is reduced thanks to the use of energy-efficient LEDs.
The projects implemented in the capital to modernize and improve the reliability of public utilities infrastructure correspond to the goals and objectives of the national project “Infrastructure for life”.
