Dear colleagues!
Congratulations on your professional holiday – Shipbuilder’s Day! This is a special occasion to express gratitude to the employees and veterans of one of the most important branches of Russian industry.
The history of domestic shipbuilding goes back to the era of Peter the Great. Since then, for more than 300 years, Russian shipbuilders have been creating unique vessels, ensuring our country the status of a great maritime power. Your success is the result of hard work, high professionalism and dedication to your work.
Russia is a leader in shipbuilding and remains the only country with a nuclear icebreaker fleet. Thanks to the skill of industry specialists, our icebreakers ensure navigation in harsh Arctic waters – from the Barents and White Seas to the Chukchi and East Siberian Seas, expanding Russia’s presence in the Arctic.
Domestic shipyards are building a wide range of vessels – from multi-purpose combat ships for the Navy to modern civilian vessels for various purposes, which confirms the high level of competence of our specialists.
I sincerely wish you good health, prosperity and new professional achievements!
