The digital station of Maryina Roshcha station on the Big Circle Line of the metro has had its thematic design updated. On the escalator vault, passengers will see summer symbols — a fan, a sun lounger and a glass of refreshing lemonade — and will also receive reminders from the character of the digital stations about the need to wear hats.
Thematic inscriptions and illustrations are displayed by projectors installed in 11 escalator lights.
“Digital stations are a step into the future that significantly increases the level of passenger comfort. At Maryina Roshcha, we have implemented innovative solutions that provide personalized service: digital navigation, a digital Live Communication stand with the chatbot Alexandra, as well as an improved design of turnstiles. On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, we are creating a modern infrastructure that meets the highest requirements,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry
Digital images have become a new channel of communication with passengers. Mini-projectors display information contactlessly, without damaging the materials of the escalator vault. Muscovites and guests of the capital can, for example, find out about the weather in the area of the metro station in real time. You can share your opinion about the new communication technology using QR codes, which are placed on touch navigation steles and the digital stand “Live communication” in the lobby.
Previously, thematic design also appeared on the escalator vault of the digital station before the New Year and on the eve of spring.
