A second-year master’s student at the Institute of Biomedical Systems and Biotechnology, Daria Melentyeva, has dreamed of doing science since childhood. In high school, she assessed the capabilities of the Polytechnic University and decided on a university. At the assembly in honor of Knowledge Day, Daria took the oath on behalf of all first-year students as the best applicant of 2019. Now the girl is researching neurodegenerative diseases at the Laboratory of Molecular Neurodegeneration (LMN). The Polytechnic University not only gave Daria a bright student life and opened the doors to the world of science, but also helped her find love. She met her boyfriend in the student team “Archon”.
