Farmers pick tea leaves at an organic tea plantation in Baisha Li Autonomous County of south China’s Hainan Province, Feb. 21, 2025. As one of the main tea-producing areas in Hainan, Baisha County boasts a combined tea-planting area of more than 12,000 mu (about 800 hectares), or one third of the province’s total, along with an annual output of tea products worth 130 million yuan (about 17.9 million U.S. dollars).
