Decorations in the form of buds of scarlet roses of different sizes began to appear at the Trubnaya metro station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line in anticipation of International Women’s Day. In total, more than 400 themed decorations are planned to be placed. Specialists recreated the shape of the flowers using plastic material.

“We decorate the transport infrastructure before major state and city holidays on the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin. In anticipation of International Women’s Day, as per tradition, we placed flower-shaped decorations at the Trubnaya metro station: it is located near cultural attractions that are popular with Muscovites and visitors to the capital,” said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry

Maxim Liksutov.

The decorations were fixed to special metal arches, decorated in the colors of the flowers themselves. The red shade for the buds was chosen, among other things, because it contrasts with the white vault of the station and creates a festive atmosphere. You can see the themed decoration at Trubnaya and take bright photos until March 31.
