On World Autism Awareness Day in 2009, artist and musician Yoko Ono unveiled an art piece at UN Headquarters in New York. Called ‘Promise Piece’, the work is made up of puzzle pieces. Ms. Ono called for raising funds, awareness and advocacy to address autism worldwide.
