Moscow, July 20 /Xinhua/ — Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, speaking about the “anti-Russian militaristic ecstasy” in Europe over the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine, called this a very dangerous trend in general, which Russia takes into account and makes its plans based on it.
“Anti-Russian and militaristic ecstasy, thank God, has not yet found common understanding.” “But the trend as a whole is, of course, very bad and very dangerous,” the Kremlin spokesman said in an interview with the author and co-host of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” Pavel Zarubin.
“And we see this, we take this into account and proceed from this when drawing up our future plans,” D. Peskov pointed out.
As he noted, a number of Western countries “are creating an enemy for themselves, conducting such concentrated professional work both in their own society and abroad in order to present Russia as the spawn of hell.” “And in order to ensure the continuation of the war, in order to suppress Russia, this discussion is taking place about who will pay for the holiday,” added the press secretary of the Russian president.
D. Peskov noted that Germany is the economic locomotive of Europe, but it cannot bear the burden of paying for arms supplies to Ukraine alone.
Commenting on the statements of US President Donald Trump on the Ukrainian settlement, D. Peskov stated that “Russia is ready to move quickly. The main thing for us is to achieve our goals.”
“Our goals are clear, they are obvious, they do not change,” he emphasized.
According to Russian media, in March the European Union, under the pretext of a threat from Russia and Belarus, agreed on a plan to militarize Europe. The EU announced an increase in military spending and the development of circular defense plans.
D. Trump announced on July 14 that the United States would sell modern weapons to NATO member states for delivery to Ukraine. Western media reported that Hungary, Italy and France refused to finance such purchases. –0–

While scorching heat grips most of America in early July, Wisconsin’s Marathon County offers a striking exception: cool breezes whisper through shaded areas with almost autumnal crispness, while nighttime temperatures regularly dip below 20 degrees Celsius — a refreshing anomaly in the sweltering national landscape.
“This place is the only place that is producing quality ginseng in the United States,” said Dave Schumacher, vice president of the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin, a state-mandated marketing board established in 1991 and overseen by the state of Wisconsin. The ideal climate and the soil here in Wisconsin give ginseng “that real strong bitter flavor, then that little sweetness that comes after that.”
“You don’t see that in any other region that grows ginseng,” Schumacher said, highlighting the area’s distinctive qualities.
At its peak in the 1980s and 1990s, over 1,200 ginseng farmers here in Wisconsin were producing over 2 million pounds of ginseng a year. “It really was an economic boom for this area, and also for the state of Wisconsin,” recalled Schumacher, his voice tinged with pride for the region’s boom years.
The industry has since been in decline. “We went from over 1,200 growers to 79 growers now. And that will decrease another 12 growers in the next two years,” Schumacher lamented.
Ginseng production, he said, had declined by 60 percent from its peak to about 1 million pounds. The number could drop even further in the future, unless there is a change in the overall market price.
Ginseng production in Wisconsin has encountered multiple challenges in recent decades. Market pressures mounted as more countries entered the ginseng trade, compounded by climatic threats like Wisconsin’s freak May 2010 snowstorm that buried crops under six inches of snow, wiping out tons of mature plants.
Tariffs are the latest challenge facing ginseng farmers in Wisconsin.
“I have tasted the ups and downs in the past 13 years,” said Jiang Mingtao, who started to grow ginseng in Marathon County in 2012. “We harvested our first crop in 2015, and back then, the price was three times what it is today.”
Jiang said the greatest damage to his ginseng business — from the first round of the trade war to the current tensions — has been the uncertainty.
He explained that American ginseng takes three to five years to grow from seed to maturity, and frequent policy shifts have disrupted long-term planning. “We’re an industry that hopes for orderly development,” he said.
Despite its global reputation, Wisconsin ginseng production accounts for only about 8 percent of the global total. “The trade war is like adding insult to injury,” Jiang said.
Asia has long been the traditional market for American ginseng, with about 80 percent of Wisconsin’s production ultimately making its way to China, according to Schumacher. “It’ll either go directly in large shipments or else it may be carried in as gifts.”
“China is very important to us,” he added. “We enjoy talking to them (the Chinese people), and overall, they’re important to us, and we hope in the future that everything turns out well.”
Paul Hsu, chairman and founder of Hsu’s Ginseng Enterprises, Inc., has been growing ginseng in Wisconsin for 50 years. Trade tensions triggered layoffs for one-third of Hsu’s employees and closure of five out of his 40 farms.
“I have two companies in China, each with 10 branches scattered in nine provinces. Now the ten branches have merged into seven and all of them were shrinking,” said the 83-year-old.
Hsu revealed a harsh economic reality: while production costs — from labor to fertilizers — have skyrocketed almost sixfold over the past four decades, Wisconsin ginseng prices remain frozen at 1980s levels. “People are less and less interested in planting because it is not profitable,” he said.
Facing unprecedented pressures, these growers still cherish their bond with Wisconsin’s century-old ginseng tradition — all three firmly rejecting any thought of giving up ginseng growing.
As a second-generation ginseng farmer, Schumacher said that his nephew is planning on taking over the business after he retires. “So thankfully, I think our family tradition will continue in the ginseng industry.”

Valid 200100Z – 201200Z
…THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR PARTS OF THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS INTO THE MIDWEST…
…SUMMARY… Strong to severe storms remain possible this evening into late tonight from parts of the central and northern High Plains into parts of the Corn Belt.
…Central Plains into parts of IA/IL… Strong to extreme buoyancy and favorable deep-layer shear (as noted on the 00Z OAX sounding) remain in place across much of NE into western/central IA. Ongoing supercells will continue to pose a threat for large hail, localized severe gusts, and possibly a tornado or two through much of the evening.
A nocturnally strengthening low-level jet may support an increase in storm coverage later tonight from eastern NE into parts of IA. Potential for organized MCS development remains uncertain, but any substantial storm clustering could result in a damaging wind and isolated hail threat spreading eastward overnight, potentially reaching parts of northern IL before the end of the period.
…Northern High Plains… Widely scattered supercells may persist through much of the evening across the northern High Plains, within an environment characterized by moderate to strong instability and favorable deep-layer shear (as depicted in the 00Z GGW and UNR soundings). Large hail and localized severe gusts may accompany the strongest storms. Some modest upscale growth is possible late tonight from eastern MT into ND, in association with a mid/upper-level shortwave trough moving across southern SK. While an isolated severe threat could continue across this region into the overnight hours, decreasing instability and increasing CINH should eventually result in a gradual weakening trend.
…Mid Atlantic… A few strong storms are ongoing this evening from eastern VA into NC. Localized wind damage remains possible with the strongest remaining storms, though the threat should eventually diminish as storms weaken with time and/or move offshore.
…WI/Lower MI vicinity… Some increase in storm coverage remains possible this evening across parts of WI and lower MI, in the vicinity of a cold front. Modest buoyancy and moderate deep-layer shear could support a strong storm or two capable of locally damaging wind.

Areas affected…Southern Iowa…extreme northeast Missouri…west-central Illinois
Concerning…Severe potential…Watch possible
Valid 200439Z – 200645Z
Probability of Watch Issuance…40 percent
SUMMARY…A small cluster of thunderstorms will pose a risk for isolated large hail and strong wind gusts. Should these storms show signs of becoming better organized, then watch issuance would be possible.
DISCUSSION…A small cluster of thunderstorms has recently intensified over south-central Iowa in the vicinity of an east-west frontal boundary. Latest objective analysis shows this area within a zone of low-level warm advection, and also within the right entrance region of an upper-level jet maximum. Strong instability (MUCAPE in excess of 2500 J/kg) and around 40 kts of westerly shear will provide a favorable environment for some continued severe hail and wind threat, with some non-zero tornado potential in the vicinity of the boundary. The primary uncertainty is the degree of organization that would result in more than an isolated severe threat. Latest hi-res guidance remains varied regarding near-term forecasts for these storms, although the potential does exist for increased organization over the next few hours. Were this to occur, then watch issuance would be possible.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday signed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act, or GENIUS Act, into law, marking the country’s first major federal law governing cryptocurrencies.
Passed by a bipartisan majority in Congress, the legislation gave an immediate boost to market sentiment: the total value of cryptoassets surged past $4 trillion, according to CoinGecko, a cryptocurrency data aggregator website.
“This could be perhaps the greatest revolution in financial technology since the birth of the Internet itself,” said Trump.
What are stablecoins?
Unlike volatile cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, stablecoins are designed to hold a steady value by being pegged one-to-one to a stable asset, usually to the U.S. dollar. For every stablecoin in circulation, the issuing company is expected to hold equivalent reserves, such as cash or short-term Treasury bonds.
In a Brookings Institution report, stablecoins currently in circulation have a collective market capitalization of over $250 billion with approximately 99% pegged to the U.S. dollar.
Among major stablecoin issuers are Tether (USDT) with a market cap of nearly $161 billion, and Circle (USDC) with about $65 billion, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
“At the end of the day, it’s about being able to send dollars outside of banking hours and to send dollars the way you and I might interact with WhatsApp or messaging platforms,” Circle’s chief strategy officer Dante Disparte told CBS in a recent interview.
With the GENIUS Act passed, banks, nonbanks and credit unions could dive into the market by issuing their own stablecoins, local media reported.
Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser said on the company’s earnings call Tuesday that the bank is considering issuing its own form of the cryptocurrency.
Pros and cons
Stablecoins emerged in 2014 and have since ballooned in popularity particularly for their potential use in digital payments, said Darrell Duffie, a professor of finance at Stanford University.
The total market value of stablecoins soared from $20 billion in 2020 to $246 billion in May 2025, according to analysts at Deutsche Bank.
U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty said stablecoins could allow businesses and consumers to settle payments “nearly instantaneously,” as opposed to the current system, which can take weeks.
In some developing countries, where dollars aren’t easily accessible, firms with international partners are turning to stablecoins to speed up transfers that would otherwise take days or weeks through traditional banks.
However, stablecoins come with mounting concerns. Among the biggest are the depegging risks. If reserve assets lose value or liquidity, stablecoins may break their peg. This can trigger trading losses or systemic market risks to insolvency and liquidity, as seen during the 2023 banking crisis, said a report from S&P Global Ratings.
Another risk is lack of transparency. John Reed Stark, a former top financial regulator who served as chief of the SEC Office of Internet Enforcement, said, “In most instances, we have no visibility to any stablecoins, no public audits, no examinations, no inspections — who knows what is really going on?”
A further concern revolves around the potential use of stablecoins by illicit actors, such as drug dealers and scammers. Zhao Yao, a researcher at Renmin University of China, said that the anonymity and decentralized nature of stablecoins could facilitate money laundering and other illegal transactions.
Implications for U.S. and global finance
The GENIUS Act aligns with Trump’s pledge to make the United States “the crypto capital of the world.”
Christian Catalini, founder of the MIT Cryptoeconomics Lab, said this move could usher in mainstream adoption of stablecoins for digital payments and spur growth in the stablecoin industry.
Lawmakers also passed two other crypto bills, rounding out what Republicans called “Crypto Week.” The Clarity Act will regulate digital commodities beyond stablecoins, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act prevents the Federal Reserve from issuing any retail central bank digital currency directly to Americans. The Trump administration and crypto advocates see the moves as a step toward mainstream adoption, local media reported.
Eneko Knorr, CEO of Stabolut, said that stablecoins “strengthen dollar dominance” by boosting demand for dollars and U.S. Treasuries in global trade — though others like Dean Baker, co-director at the Center for Economic and Policy Research, argued that the benefits are “trivial” compared to central bank digital currencies, which offer similar advantages without the risks of private issuers.
However, one point of controversy in this legislation is whether and how to restrict the ability of the president and other federal politicians from issuing stablecoins of their own, wrote a Brookings Institution commentary.
The Trump family has direct ties to crypto ventures, including a meme coin called $TRUMP, and a business called World Liberty Financial, which has launched a stablecoin called USD1 — though the White House has said that there are no conflicts of interest present for Trump and that his assets are in a trust managed by his children.
Hillary Allen, a law professor at American University, said in an interview with CNN that the crypto industry poured money into Trump’s reelection campaign and congressional races. “This is the return on investment for the campaign spending by the crypto industry,” Allen said.
Critics also worry about unintended macroeconomic consequences. The Economist warned if consumers move funds from bank deposits into stablecoins, banks could lose key funding sources, limiting their ability to lend.
It also pointed out an irony in U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s ambition to popularize stablecoins globally: Efforts to expand stablecoin use abroad could backfire economically at home — strengthening the dollar but undermining U.S. exports and trade goals.

Washington D.C. – Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement on the reported visit of Attorney General Pam Bondi and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to Alcatraz announcing a plan to reopen the island’s federal penitentiary:
“With stiff competition, the planned announcement to reopen Alcatraz as a federal penitentiary is the Trump Administration’s stupidest initiative yet. It should concern us all that clearly the only intellectual resources the Administration has drawn upon for this foolish notion are decades-old fictional Hollywood movies.
“Make no mistake: this stupidity is a diversionary tactic to draw attention away from this Administration’s cruelest actions yet in their Big, Ugly Law, which takes away food from children and rips health care from millions to give tax breaks to billionaires. It remains to be seen how this Administration could possibly afford to spend billions to convert and maintain Alcatraz as a prison when they are already adding trillions of dollars to the national debt with their sinful law.
“Should reason not prevail and Republicans bring this absurdity before the Congress, Democrats will use every parliamentary and budgetary tactic available to stop the lunacy.”

Washington, D.C. – Today on the House Floor, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi denounced the Supreme Court’s recent decision permitting the President to move forward with mass layoffs at the Department of Education. In her remarks, Pelosi described the ruling as a grave blow to the rule of law and a dangerous expansion of executive authority that undermines Congress’s constitutional power of the purse.
Pointing to the broader consequences of gutting education investments, Pelosi warned that these cuts serve the wealthiest Americans at the expense of the nation’s future.
Watch her full remarks here.
Read the transcript of Speaker Emerita Pelosi’s Floor remarks below:
Speaker Emerita Pelosi. Mr. Speaker, the Supreme Court’s ridiculous decision this week to allow the President to proceed with mass layoffs at the Department of Education is a grave blow to the rule of law and defies Congressional authority.
Justice Sotomayor’s dissent warns that the Court is ‘enabling the executive branch to undermine Congress’s power of the purse.’ And she is absolutely right.
Perhaps the Republicans in the House, the Senate and the White House do not understand that nothing brings more money to the U.S. Treasury than the education of the American people.
Early childhood education, K-through-12, higher education, post-grad and lifetime learning for our workers.
They’re cutting education to give tax breaks to the richest people at the expense of America’s future—the education of the American people.
The Court’s disregard for the authority of the legislative branch empowers executive overreach at the expense of accountability and democracy.
My colleagues, take pride in being a Member of the House. Support this institution and our constitutional right with the power of the purse.

Washington, D.C.– This week, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi spoke on the House Floor to honor the life and legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis, marking the fifth anniversary of his passing on this day in 2020. Joined by colleagues and Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, Pelosi paid tribute to Lewis’s unwavering commitment to justice, his moral clarity and his enduring call to make “good trouble.”
Pelosi reflected on her more than three decades serving alongside Lewis in the House, praising his leadership in the fight for civil rights, voting rights and the soul of America. Recalling his example of nonviolence and love, she urged Congress to carry forward his mission with both words and action. Watch her full remarks here.
Read the transcript of Speaker Emerita Pelosi’s Floor remarks below:
Speaker Emerita Pelosi. I thank the gentlewoman from Virginia for calling us together on this anniversary week of losing John Lewis.
Any of us who served with him in this body—and I have served with him for 30 years—my brother, he challenged us each day to do our very best for the American people: by his words, by his example.
As a distinguished former chair of the Black Caucus, Congresswoman Beatty said: we marched with him in Atlanta. We marched with him in Selma again and again. We marched in Washington. We marched. We followed his lead wherever he took us to make the statement.
As a distinguished chair of the Caucus, Congresswoman Clarke mentioned earlier about the voter suppression and how John was here to fight it—going to that in a moment. But first, I want to quote John Lewis:
‘In my life I have done all I can to demonstrate that the way of peace, the way of love and nonviolence is the more excellent way.’
‘Now it is your turn,’ he said, ‘to let freedom ring.’
Mr. Speaker, John Lewis’s lasting legacy represents both the progress of our nation and the promise of what our nation can become. He believed in a better tomorrow, in a more perfect union, in one country, one destiny. He believed in all of us.
He had a deep faith in the goodness of people, and he believed that everyone was worthy of respect.
Again, I was honored to serve with him for more than 30 years and learn from him all that time—and saw in this Congress how he taught us, through words and actions, what true moral leadership looks like.
From time to time, when he rose to speak, he reminded us of our duty to the American people: to lift up our voices and to guide them to a future where freedom and justice are not just ideals, but guarantees.
As the distinguished chair of the Caucus mentioned—and also former chair Mr. Steven Horsford mentioned, as well as Congresswoman Beatty—he was there because the right to vote was so central to our freedom.
He wrote the first 300 pages of the For the People Act, which was to end voter suppression.
We all know of his leadership as being the title of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. That is still not there.
Today, as we witness attacks on civil rights, on democracy, on diversity, even on people’s basic necessities, many Americans are looking for hope.
In these moments, let us be reminded of John’s spirit and honor him not just with words, but with deeds.
It is on us to rise to the moment—to get in good trouble For The Children.

Washington, D.C. – This evening, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi delivered remarks on the House Floor opposing the Republican rescissions bill, warning that its deep cuts to foreign aid and global health initiatives pose a grave threat to U.S. national security.
Pelosi emphasized that slashing billions in foreign aid and diplomatic funding undermines America’s ability to combat global poverty, disease and instability—tools long recognized as essential to preventing conflict and strengthening U.S. influence abroad. Drawing on bipartisan history, she highlighted how past GOP cuts opened the door for geopolitical rivals like China and Russia to fill the void left by American withdrawal.
Watch her full remarks here.
Read the transcript of Speaker Emerita Pelosi’s Floor remarks below:
Speaker Emerita Pelosi. Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I thank the gentleman for yielding and for his leadership. We’re so proud of you.
Now, tonight is a dangerous night for our country. I’m not even talking about the defense bill—whether we agree or disagree on that. I’m talking about what’s happening in this rescission bill.
Don’t take it from me. Just take it from Navy Admiral William McRaven—Navy SEAL, four-star admiral—who warned that cutting the State Department and USAID will put every American at risk.
This is the quote: ‘This is no time to weaken any element of America’s power. The dismissal of highly trained diplomats at the State Department and the dismantling of USAID will jeopardize national security and make the military’s job more difficult.’
‘Our national security has never depended on military strength alone. It relies on collaboration with a strong Foreign service and diplomatic corps’—and I’m adding with our USAID.
In this bill, over $8 billion is taken away from what we do to alleviate poverty in the world, to lessen things like HIV and AIDS and other diseases which have an impact on global health—to stop funding the World Health Organization.
I give praise to President Bush when he put forth PEPFAR. We worked closely with him to fund it as appropriators. 25 million people’s lives were saved.
But we’re saying the alleviation of poverty and the eradication of disease is no longer—And you all did this in the 90s too, when you took control of the House.
And you know what you did? You opened the door for China and Russia to go into these countries and have geopolitical victories funded by our money that they made in trade against us—speaking of China—and then us walking out the door.
This is absolutely a shame. An absolute shame.
I urge everyone to vote no on it and understand what this is.
Japanese voters could unleash political turmoil as they head to the polls on Sunday in a tightly contested upper house election, with rising prices and immigration concerns threatening to weaken Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba’s grip on power.
Opinion polls suggest Ishiba’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and its coalition partner Komeito may fall short of the 50 seats needed to retain control of the 248-seat upper house of parliament, in an election where half the seats are up for grabs.
Polls show that smaller opposition parties pushing for tax cuts and increased public spending are set to gain — among them, the right-wing Sanseito, which vows to curb immigration, oppose foreign capital inflows, and reverse gender equality initiatives.
A poor showing by the coalition could shake investor confidence in the world’s fourth-largest economy and disrupt critical trade talks with the United States, analysts said.
Ishiba may have to choose between stepping aside for a new LDP leader or scrambling to secure the backing of some opposition parties through policy compromises, said Rintaro Nishimura, an associate at the Asia Group in Japan.
“Each scenario requires the LDP and Komeito to make certain concessions, and will be challenging, as any potential partner has leverage in the negotiations,” he added.
After the election, Japan faces a deadline of August 1 to strike a trade deal with the United States or risk punishing tariffs in its largest export market.
Such import levies could squeeze the economy and further pressure the government to provide financial relief to households already reeling from inflation — including a doubling of rice prices since last year.
With an eye on a jittery government bond market, the LDP has called for fiscal restraint, rejecting opposition demands for major tax cuts and increased welfare spending to soften the blow.
Ishiba’s administration lost its majority in the more powerful lower house in October — the LDP’s worst showing in 15 years — roiling financial markets and leaving the prime minister vulnerable to no-confidence motions that could topple his administration and trigger a fresh general election.
Police said a male driver had been shot while being assaulted by onlookers and was taken to a hospital. His condition remains unknown.
Ruled by the LDP for most of the post-war period, Japan has so far largely avoided the social divisions and political fracturing seen in other industrialised democracies.
Voting ends at 8 p.m. (1100 GMT), when media outlets are expected to project results based on exit polls.
SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom has approved the prepositioning of firefighting resources in Sierra and Plumas counties in response to critical fire weather conditions forecasted to impact Northern California starting Sunday, July 20, through Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
A total of nine fire engines, three water tenders, and one dispatcher are prepositioned in Sierra and Plumas counties. These efforts ensure that resources are ready to respond quickly, minimizing the potential impact of new fires. This proactive approach has proven to be a critical component of California’s wildfire response strategy, reducing response times and containing fires before they escalate into major incidents.

DENVER, CO, USA, July 19, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — As Bitcoin surpasses the $115,000 milestone for the first time in history, the digital asset landscape is witnessing accelerated adoption across blockchain infrastructure and mining services. In direct response to this industry surge, AIXA Miner, a global provider of secure cloud mining services, has announced a major expansion of its backend systems and operational footprint to accommodate the growing demand for decentralized asset generation.
The announcement arrives at a critical turning point for the crypto mining industry, which is undergoing a rapid transition from speculative models to more structured, high-yield solutions built for mainstream and institutional investors alike. According to a recent Statista report, the cloud mining market is projected to exceed $7.3 billion by 2028, driven by demand for non-custodial income strategies and green mining initiatives.
Rising Bitcoin Price Signals Shift in Mining Demand
Bitcoin’s 2025 price rally is not only attracting retail attention but is also recalibrating the strategies of global mining platforms. For AIXA Miner, this means scaling up capacity and optimizing mining intelligence layers to meet the expectations of performance-driven users.
“Bitcoin’s breakout reflects a broader evolution in how digital assets are integrated into modern finance,” said Isabelle Lang, Technical Operations Lead at AIXA Miner. “We’ve built our systems to deliver predictable value across volatile markets, and our current infrastructure expansion is designed to scale with this momentum.”
Lang added that AIXA Miner’s recent updates will allow the platform to adapt to higher blockchain activity while preserving stability, uptime, and user profitability.
Blockchain Technology and Cloud Mining Synergy
The intersection of blockchain scalability and intelligent cloud mining infrastructure is reshaping how mining returns are generated and distributed. As Layer 2 networks and more efficient consensus mechanisms mature, platforms like AIXA Miner are exploring integrations that will streamline operations and reduce energy waste.
By integrating renewable-powered facilities and AI-optimized mining strategies, AIXA Miner is also aligning with the financial and environmental goals of today’s investors.
Industry analyst firm CryptoCompare reports that eco-conscious mining platforms now account for over 48% of new mining capacity added globally this year, further confirming that cloud mining providers emphasizing green infrastructure and transparency are gaining a competitive edge.
High Profit Platforms Gain Traction with Passive Income Seekers
With Bitcoin hitting historic highs, users are increasingly gravitating toward high profit platforms that offer simplified access to mining returns. Platforms that can provide consistent payouts, dynamic contract tiers, and security-enhanced interfaces are being viewed as the best earning platforms in the crypto space.
AIXA Miner’s approach includes risk-managed mining strategies, regular audits, and a modular dashboard for both entry-level and institutional clients.
“We’re focused on maintaining our reputation as a trusted, transparent participant in the digital infrastructure space,” said Lang. “Our platform is designed to be both secure and adaptive, especially in a market where user trust and platform credibility are under constant evaluation.”
Infrastructure Built for Next-Gen Crypto Mining
AIXA Miner’s infrastructure roadmap includes upgrades to GPU and ASIC deployment, redundancy in global data centers, and tighter API security integration with popular non-custodial wallets. The goal is to offer more streamlined onboarding, real-time analytics, and higher overall system efficiency as crypto mining demand scales.
Looking Ahead: Beyond the Bull Cycle
As the digital asset sector matures, platforms that balance innovation, compliance, and user-centered design will define the next generation of blockchain infrastructure providers.
For AIXA Miner, this expansion is not just about leveraging the current bull cycle—it’s about laying the groundwork for sustainable, regulation-ready growth in crypto mining. With upcoming updates in AI-powered allocation, enhanced security auditing, and real-time contract monitoring, the company aims to serve as a reference point for resilient cloud mining operations.
About AIXA Miner Founded in 2020, AIXA Miner provides secure and scalable cloud mining services across multiple jurisdictions. The platform leverages AI systems, renewable energy, and robust infrastructure to enable passive income generation for users in over 80 countries.

The United States said on Friday that the country has rejected amendments to the international health regulations adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO) last year.
U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a joint statement to formally reject the WHO’s 2024 International Health Regulations Amendments.
The statement accused the amendments of being “vague and broad” in terminology, claiming that U.S. agencies “put Americans first in all our actions” and “will not tolerate international policies that infringe on Americans’ speech, privacy or personal liberties.”
The pact, which was adopted in Geneva in June 2024, aims to ensure that drugs, therapeutics and vaccines are globally accessible when the next pandemic occurs.

Syria’s interior authorities said Saturday night that through their extensive efforts to implement a newly-reached ceasefire agreement, Bedouin tribal fighters have fully withdrawn from the southern Syrian city of Sweida.
“After intensive efforts … and following the deployment of internal security forces in northern and western Sweida, all tribal fighters have been evacuated from the city and the clashes have ceased inside its neighborhoods,” interior authorities spokesperson Noureddin al-Baba said in a televised statement.
Earlier on Saturday, a three-phase ceasefire agreement, brokered by the United States, Türkiye, Jordan, and other regional actors to halt the violence in Sweida that has claimed at least 940 lives since July 13, took effect.
Hours later, fierce fighting erupted in Sweida between Druze armed groups and Bedouin tribal fighters.
According to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Druze fighters launched a counteroffensive late Saturday, reclaiming Sweida city after hours of clashes.
Tribal forces, withdrawing from the city, responded with mortar attacks that caused material damage and possible civilian injuries, said the SOHR.
In a statement released earlier Saturday evening, Syria’s Druze spiritual leadership accused Bedouin tribal militias of violating the newly reached ceasefire in southern Sweida province and committing “crimes that shame all humanity.”
The statement said international guarantors should enforce the ceasefire and stop “a campaign of terror and collective punishment” against Sweida’s residents.
The SOHR said Sweida is facing a looming humanitarian catastrophe, citing widespread infrastructure damage, medical supply shortages, and a complete collapse of the main hospital.
According to Syria’s information chief Hamzah Mustafa, the ceasefire agreement involves deploying the country’s Internal Security Forces to separate warring factions and halt hostilities in the first phase, opening humanitarian corridors between Sweida and southern Daraa province in the second, and restoring state institutions and ensuring the gradual return of law enforcement in the third.
“This is the path Sweida needs today after months of tension and exhaustion,” Mustafa said in a press conference, “The state remains committed to protecting all Syrians and restoring national unity.”
Noting that 21 shelters have been established in Daraa, with 20 more underway, Syria’s emergency management chief Raed al-Saleh also demanded the release of kidnapped civil defense official Hamzah al-Amarin to resume humanitarian operations.
The nearly week-long fierce clashes in Sweida, which prompted fears of a broader regional escalation, started after armed members of a Bedouin tribe in the countryside of Sweida, a predominantly Druze area, reportedly assaulted and robbed a young Druze man near the town of al-Masmiyah, along the Damascus-Sweida highway.
The brutal attack sparked retaliatory kidnappings, spiraling into full-scale clashes between local Druze fighters, government troops, and Bedouin militias.

A visitor tries a pair of glasses at the booth of TCL in the Digital Technology Chain area of the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, capital of China, July 19, 2025. [Photo/Xinhua]
To provide a quick overview of what its digital technology can do for China’s many small and medium-sized exporters, a Nanjing-based software firm put up nine striking Q&A posters at an ongoing trade fair in Beijing.
“Where is my product most in-demand overseas?” “How can I ensure my product passes customs compliance?” “Customers want low carbon and what should I do?” “How can I make global supply chain more cost-effective?” — SKYTECH’s AI tools can quickly provide tailored solutions to these questions.
During discussions about fragile global supply chains at the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), participants noted that China’s AI technology is a source of confidence and a promising avenue for building resilience in global trade.
Qiu Weiwen, a manager from SKYTECH, demonstrated the intelligent system in front of a large screen. “China has the most complete industrial chain in the world, which makes its export product system rather complex, and that’s why we’ve designed an AI system,” he explained.
For new energy vehicle products, it is necessary to input the origins of components like tires, bearings, and battery cells. Even small changes in parameters can result in different solutions from the large model.
“The country where the product is assembled might be different from where its components are produced. We can help you analyze which scenario is more advantageous,” Qiu said.
Another service from the Nanjing firm in east China supports European Union-bound exporters by automating carbon footprint reporting and carbon tariff calculations. Beyond compliance, SKYTECH further delivers strategic guidance enabling clients to capture revenue opportunities through carbon trading schemes.
At a CISCE roundtable on Friday, SKYTECH spotlighted a success story. Under its support, Chinese solar-panel maker Trina Solar built a low-carbon, digitally optimized line that slashes the carbon footprint of its modules well below France’s entry threshold, unlocking instant access to the European market.
In the neighboring booth, tech stars from east China’s Zhejiang Province were unveiling their smart new products, and one of them was NetEase’s AI agent for foreign trade firms.
The NetEase Foreign Trade Express uses “AI employees” to develop overseas customers, with precise inquiries increasing by 30% The AI can automatically identify target customers with an accuracy rate of over 95%, saving foreign trade companies up to 1.5 working days per week in customer search time.
Last October, Alibaba International updated its “AI Business Assistant,” enabling real-time optimization of product titles, keywords, images and selling points to drive more online exposure for home-made products for overseas market.
Veteran Chinese mechanics maker Xu Jingqian recalled a puzzling challenge with his screw compressors: strong website traffic in the United States but poor buyer inquiries on Alibaba.
As an early adopter of Alibaba’s AI tool launched in 2023, he received targeted recommendations: Add U.S. specifications, showcase product certifications and clarify door-to-door delivery costs. After implementing these changes, Xu saw his sales more than double.
“AI now auto-translates Chinese small enterprises’ product descriptions into export-ready visuals and listings, making global sales as easy as domestic ones,” said Fan Min, general manager of public affairs at Alibaba 1688, at a CISCE event.
Open Source
The introduction of these new products underscores China’s ongoing efforts to sustain the global trade system via digital tools despite increasing uncertainties. Empowered especially by AI technology, the thriving digital trade is emerging as a bright spot in global trade landscape.
At the five-day expo, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang praised China’s global leadership in AI models, engineering talent and industrial applications. “The supply chain of China is a miracle. It is the largest and most complex in the world, not just about labor, but built on deep technology, AI and software,” said Huang.
In a dialogue event on Thursday, Huang said China is clever about open-source engineering. “Open source has many global implications. It’s not just helping the Chinese ecosystem; it’s helping ecosystems around the world.”
China’s open-source AI models like DeepSeek, Kimi and Qwen are powering supply chains across China and the rest of the world. In February, the NetEase Foreign Trade Express fully integrated with DeepSeek.
China’s digitally deliverable service import and export value in 2024 grew by nearly 40% compared to 2020, as shown by figures released by the country’s Ministry of Commerce.
Last year, China’s digital economy core industries contributed about 10% of its GDP, while cross-border e-commerce exports grew by 16.9% year on year, according to China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, who organized the CISCE.
An initiative launched at the expo calls for the digitalization and intelligent upgrading of supply chains, promoting interconnected data across the entire chain to create better conditions for international trade and investment cooperation.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) issued the following statement following the Administration’s confirmation that it will comply with a federal court order halting deportations for Haitian Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders until at least February 3, 2026.
“This is not just a policy decision—it is a hard-fought legal victory for the Haitian community and all who have stood in defense of our immigrant families. The court’s ruling makes clear what we have always known: TPS holders deserve stability, protection, and respect, not political games or legal uncertainty.
“Because of this ruling, deportations tied to the now-vacated February order cannot proceed, and Haitian TPS holders can continue to live and work in the U.S. with authorization through February 3, 2026. Those who were wrongfully fired due to confusion around work permits must be reinstated immediately. These individuals are essential workers, caregivers, and taxpayers, and they deserve justice.
“Let’s be clear: this is the enforcement of the law. Our communities should not have to rely on court orders to be treated with dignity. A stronger path forward begins at home, with permanent protections and immigration reform that centers humanity, not politics.
“I remain committed to ensuring our Haitian and other communities are not treated as temporary. They are a vital part of the American fabric, and I will not stop fighting until our laws reflect that truth.”

“ATF is here to work alongside our local partners and share whatever resources we have to help determine the cause of this explosion,” said ATF Special Agent in Charge Kenneth R. Cooper, of the Los Angeles Field Division. “While the pain of this loss will always be felt, we hope our efforts provide the answers a tragedy like this demands.”
This is the 14th NRT activation this fiscal year and the 934th since the program began in 1978. The team brings definitive expertise and an array of state-of-the-art equipment to the investigation of major explosives and fire incidents. The team can rapidly respond to assist local and state law enforcement or fire service personnel in onsite investigations.
“Anytime a first responder loses their life in the line of duty, it is a tragic loss to the community and this nation,” said Brian Lovin, the supervisor of ATF’s NRT. “We are heartbroken for the family, friends and fellow deputies, and vow to work alongside our partners with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department to determine how and why this tragedy occurred.”
Past NRT activations include such incidents as: more than 200 fire scenes resulting from civil unrest throughout the Midwest in 2020, a series of bombings in Austin, Texas in 2018; and national-level incidents such as the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon; the Centennial Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta; the Oklahoma City bombing and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
The NRT was most recently deployed to Esparto, Calif. for an explosion and fire at a fireworks facility.

GUIYANG, July 19 (Xinhua) — Jeffrey Green, a veteran pilot and chairman of the U.S.-China Aviation Heritage Foundation, has dedicated himself for nearly 30 years to preserving the legacy of the Flying Tigers and strengthening the friendship between China and the United States.
D. Green’s connection with China began when he was invited to make a documentary on the “Flying Tigers” while working as a consultant on combat aviation history for the National Geographic military channel in the United States.
The Flying Tigers, officially known as the American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force, was formed in 1941 by American General Claire Lee Chennault. American airmen came to China to help the Chinese people fight the Japanese invaders.
While losing over 2,000 men, the Flying Tigers pilots shot down over 2,600 Japanese fighters, providing significant assistance in the fight against Japanese aggression.
In 1995, a group of Flying Tiger veterans invited D. Green to join their delegation to Beijing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. This visit marked his first trip to China.
After returning to the United States, Green and the veterans, determined to keep the memory of the Flying Tigers alive, founded the U.S.-China Aviation Heritage Foundation in 1998. Since then, the nonprofit organization has been dedicated to studying, promoting, and perpetuating the shared history of U.S.-China wartime cooperation.
Over the years, the foundation has sponsored nearly 500 veterans and hundreds of their family members and descendants to travel to China. These encounters have produced many emotional and inspiring stories.
“Every time I learned something that almost no one else knew, I was able to categorize it, creating a kind of library of these thoughts,” Greene said. “But they didn’t have many opportunities to tell their stories. As a result, they just got lost.”
In 2022, the foundation launched the Flying Tigers Friendship School and Youth Leadership Program to encourage cross-cultural exchanges and pass on the Flying Tigers spirit to younger generations.
“Young people are the key to intercultural exchanges between our two countries and the hope for the healthy development of China-US relations,” said D. Green.
To date, nearly 100 high schools and universities in China have applied to participate in the program, signing memorandums of understanding to establish exchange partnerships.
In a January 2025 letter to Green, former US Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns praised the fund’s work, saying it “helps develop people-to-people ties, which are a cornerstone of the US-China bilateral relationship.”
From Sunday to Thursday, Green led a delegation to Guizhou Province in southwest China to launch the new Flying Tigers Friendship School program and visit historic sites including the 24-Turn Road, which handled more than 2,000 trucks carrying military supplies daily during World War II, and Jiuzhou Airport in Huangping County, which was the Flying Tigers’ base.
Next year, he plans to bring American students to Guizhou Province to see firsthand the living history of the two countries’ wartime cooperation.
Now 71, Green has visited China nearly 200 times since the 1990s, bringing veterans, organizing memorial events and building new bridges between the peoples of China and the United States.
“The Chinese have never forgotten what the Flying Tigers did for them. Eighty years ago, the Chinese and Americans together accomplished something almost impossible, which shows that if we work together, we can win,” said D. Green. -0-

Washington, DC – Congresswoman ClaudiaTenney(NY-24) today introduced new legislation to designate Ontario County as part of the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC). This critical federal program supports economic growth and infrastructure development across the Northeast.
The NBRC is a federal-state partnership established by Congress to address the unique issues in communities across the northern border, including those in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. While many neighboring counties are already eligible to apply for NBRC funding, Ontario County has been excluded, leaving it at a disadvantage when it comes to accessing federal dollars for job creation, business development, and revitalization projects.
“Ontario County is a vital part of our region’s economy. Expanding the NBRC eligibility to include Ontario County will unlock new opportunities for investment, infrastructure, and innovation. This legislation will help ensure Ontario County can access the same tools and resources already available to its neighboring counties to support job creation, small business growth, and long-term economic vitality,” said CongresswomanTenney.
“Including Ontario County in the Northern Border Regional Commission will be a great benefit to our residents, farms, and businesses. Thanks to Congresswoman Tenney for her support in bringing this bill forward,”said Jared Simpson, Chair of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
“I am very supportive of Congresswoman Tenney’s bill to include Ontario County in the Northern Border Regional Commission, which will promote more economic development in the County. The Town of Farmington needs investment opportunities that will encourage a highly productive workforce, new housing, and improved water & sewer infrastructure,” said Peter Ingalsbe, Farmington Town Supervisor.
“We are grateful to Congresswoman Tenney for championing legislation to include Ontario County in the Northern Border Regional Commission,” said Tracey Dello Stritto, President and CEO of the Ontario County Chamber of Commerce. “This designation would open the door to transformative federal investments that support infrastructure upgrades and business innovation. Ontario County is a fast-growing, economically diverse region, and inclusion in the NBRC will enhance our ability to compete for resources that strengthen our communities and create lasting economic opportunities.”
Palestinian supporters and protesters against the 21 months of Israeli genocide in Gaza marched after a rally in downtown Auckland today across the Viaduct to the Greenpeace environmental flagship Rainbow Warrior — and met a display of solidarity.
Several people on board the campaign ship, which has been holding open days over last weekend and this weekend, held up Palestinian flags and displayed a large banner declaring “Sanction Israel — Stop the genocide”.
About 300 people were in the vibrant rally and Greenpeace Aotearoa oceans campaigner Juan Parada came out on Halsey Wharf to speak to the protesters in solidarity over Gaza.
“Greenpeace stands for peace and justice, and environmental justice, not only for the environmental damage, but for the lives of the people,” said Parada, a former media practitioner.
Global environmental campaigners have stepped up their condemnation of the devastation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories as well as the protests over the genocide, which has so far killed almost 59,000 people, most of them women and children, according to the Gaza Health Department, although some researchers say the actual death toll is far higher.

Gaza war emissions condemned New research recently revealed that the carbon footprint of the first 15 months of Israel’s war on Gaza would be greater than the annual planet-warming emissions of 100 individual countries, worsening the global climate emergency on top of the huge civilian death toll.
The report cited by The Guardian indicated that Israel’s relentless bombardment, blockade and refusal to comply with international court rulings had “underscored the asymmetry of each side’s war machine, as well as almost unconditional military, energy and diplomatic support Israel enjoys from allies, including the US and UK”.
The Israeli war machine has been primarily blamed.

Greenpeace open letter Greenpeace Aotearoa recently came out with strong statements about the genocidal war on Gaza with executive director Russel Norman earlier this month writing an open letter to Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Foreign Minister Winston Peters, expressing his grave concerns about the “ongoing genocide in Gaza being carried out by Israeli forces” — and the ongoing failure of the New Zealand Government to impose meaningful sanctions on Israel.
He referred to the mounting death toll of starving Palestinians being deliberately shot at the notorious Israeli-US backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) food distribution sites.
Norman also cited an Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz report that Israeli soldiers had been ordered to deliberately shoot unarmed Palestinians seeking aid, quoting one Israeli soldier saying: “It’s a killing field.”
Today’s rally featured many Palestinians wearing thobe costumes in advance of Palestinian Traditional Dress Day on July 25.
This is a day to showcase and celebrate the rich Palestinian cultural heritage through traditional clothing that is intricately embroidered.
Traditional thobes are a symbol of Palestinian resilience.

In early 2025, a federal court unsealed portions of the court documents. While names of some of the alleged clients and victims were released, many were redacted or withheld.
Epstein’s arrest and death became a central focus for QAnon followers, who saw them as proof of a hidden global elite engaged in child trafficking and protected by powerful institutions. The release – or withholding – of the Epstein files is often cited within QAnon movement circles as evidence of a broader cover-up by the so-called “deep state.”
Some followers of the MAGA – Make America Great Again – movement and the Republican Party believe in the false claim that the United States is secretly controlled by a cabal of elites who are pedophiles, sex traffickers and satanists.
Over time, what started as a baseless conspiracy on obscure platforms has migrated into the mainstream. It has influenced rhetoric and policy debates, and even reshaped the American political landscape. The foundational belief of many of the QAnon followers is that Trump is a heroic figure fighting the elite pedophile ring.
Trump’s attempts at downplaying or obstructing the very disclosures they believe would validate their worldview has led to confusion. To some, the delay in the release of the files feels like a betrayal, or even the possibility of his wrongdoing. Others are trying to reinterpret Trump’s actions through increasingly baseless conspiracy logic.
Trump has publicly dismissed demands for the full release of the Epstein Files as a “hoax.” He has also made false claims. On July 15, 2025, Trump said: “And I would say that, you know, these files were made up by Comey. They were made up by Obama.”
As a scholar who studies extremism, I know that the movement views Trump as a mythological figure and it interprets Trump’s actions to fit this overarching narrative – an elasticity which makes the movement both durable and dangerous.
From Pizzagate to QAnon
The QAnon movement began with the Pizzagate conspiracy theory in 2016, which falsely claimed that high-ranking Democrats were operating a child sex trafficking ring out of a Washington, D.C., pizzeria. The baseless theory gained enough online momentum that a man armed with an assault rifle stormed the restaurant, seeking to “free the children.”
In 2017, an anonymous figure called “Q” began posting cryptic messages on message boards like 4chan and 8kun. The baseless accusations of a global network of elites involved in controlling global institutions, including governments, businesses, and the media, as well as operating a child trafficking and ritual abuse, were central to the QAnon movement’s narrative.

QAnon followers perceived Trump as a messianic figure working to expose this cabal in a climactic reckoning known as “The Storm” – a moment when mass arrests would finally bring justice.
They claimed that this moment would eventually bring about a “Great Awakening,” a reference to the religious revivalist movements of the 18th and 19th centuries. In this context the phrase described the supposed political and spiritual enlightenment that would follow “The Storm” – a moment of mass realization when people would “wake up” to the truth about the “deep state.”
In 2019, the FBI identified QAnon as a domestic terrorism threat, and major social media platforms began banning related content, but by then, QAnon had bled into mainstream conservative politics. Q-endorsing candidates, such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, ran for and won elected office a year later.
Trump and QAnon
During Trump’s first administration – from 2017 to 2021 – the QAnon movement flourished. The posts from Q claimed to reveal insider knowledge of a secret war being waged by the president, often in coordination with the military, against the powerful elite.
Trump’s rhetoric, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 election, gave new life to QAnon narratives. When he questioned the integrity of the electoral process, QAnon followers interpreted it as confirmation of the deep state’s meddling.
However, after Trump’s loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential race, QAnon followers revised their original prophecy to maintain belief in “The Storm” and “The Great Awakening.” Some claimed the defeat was part of a larger secret plan, with Biden’s presidency serving as a cover for exposing the deep state. Some believed Trump remained the true president behind the scenes, while others reframed the awakening as a spiritual rather than political event.
At various campaign rallies in 2022 and after Trump used the movement’s symbolism. On Truth Social, his social media platform, he retweeted Q-affiliated accounts, and praised QAnon supporters as “people who love our country.” That same year he reposted an image of himself wearing a Q lapel pin overlaid with the words “The Storm is Coming.”
After the 2020 elections
Trump’s departure from the White House in January 2021 created an existential crisis for the QAnon movement. Predictions that he would declare martial law or arrest Joe Biden and other Democrats on Inauguration Day failed to materialize. Q’s posts also stopped, leaving many followers adrift.
Some abandoned the theory. Others rationalized the failed predictions or embraced new conspiracy narratives, such as the belief that Trump was still secretly in charge or that the military would soon act to reinstate him.
Estimating the number of QAnon believers is difficult because many individuals do not openly identify with the movement, and those who do often hold a range of loosely connected or partial beliefs rather than adhering to a consistent or uniform ideology. Not everyone who shares a Q meme or echoes a Q talking point identifies as being part of the movement.
That said, surveys by groups like the 2024 Public Religion Research Institute and the Associated Press have found that 15–20% of Americans believe in some of QAnon’s core claims, such as the existence of a secret group of Satan-worshipping elites controlling the government.
This does not mean all these people are hardcore QAnon adherents, but it does show how far the narrative, or parts of it, has seeped into mainstream thinking.
Epstein as evidence of ‘the cabal’
The Trump administration’s failure to disclose the information in Epstein files has fueled internal confusion, disillusionment and even radicalization within the movement.
For some QAnon believers, this failure was a turning point: if Trump – once seen as the hero in the conspiracy narrative – would not or could not reveal the truth, then the “deep state” must be more entrenched than imagined.
At the same time, frustrations have grown within MAGA and the QAnon movement’s spaces. Some see it as a failure to fulfill one of his most important promises: exposing elite pedophiles. Others believe the delay is strategic, another example of “the plan” requiring more patience.
The QAnon movement continues to evolve, even as its central figure hedges and hesitates, showing how potent myths can be in times of uncertainty. In my view, understanding why this belief continues to gain traction is essential for understanding the current state of American democracy.
