As part of the implementation of a large-scale investment project, the city has provided a land plot for the construction of a new enterprise in the Savelki area of the Zelenograd Administrative Okrug (ZelAO). This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
“Moscow is a city that effectively places manufacturing plants. Thus, in the Savelki area of Zelenograd Administrative Okrug, construction of a plant for the production of architectural glass and double-glazed windows with an area of over 20 thousand square meters has begun; three more plants for the production of construction products will be located nearby. To create a new production facility as part of a large-scale investment project, the city provided a land plot of over four hectares at a preferential rate of one ruble per year. Under the program for stimulating the creation of employment opportunities, the enterprise will organize over 100 jobs,” said Anatoly Garbuzov.
The plant will be equipped with advanced equipment for sorting and processing glass. Operations for its tempering and heat strengthening, edge processing, enameling, as well as the production of triplex and the assembly of double-glazed windows, including structural and “toothed” ones, will be carried out on automated lines. The annual production volume of double-glazed windows will be 300 thousand square meters.
The entire production cycle, starting with the preparation of the construction site, is controlled State Construction Supervision Committee (Moscow State Construction Supervision Authority).
“The developer sent a notice to the committee about the start of construction and installation works at the end of January 2024. Seven on-site inspections have already been carried out at the site, during which inspectors assessed the quality of the work and materials used for compliance with the requirements of the design documentation and the architectural and urban planning solution,” the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor specified.
The construction of the plant is in an active stage. Currently, the main metal frame of the building and the power floor plate are being installed. At the same time, the installation of utility networks and a retaining wall has begun.
The plant is planned to be put into operation this year. The enterprise will not only create jobs for residents of the district, but will also help reduce pendulum migration. The solution of such socially significant problems is possible thanks to the cooperation of business and the city.
Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of City Property Maxim Gamansaid that since March 2022, the city has been providing investors with land plots for the creation and expansion of industrial enterprises in the city at a preferential rate of one ruble per year. The FSK Group of Companies was one of the first to take advantage of this opportunity. For the construction of four enterprises in Zelenograd, it was allocated more than 17 hectares of land, on which it is possible to build over 80 thousand square meters of industrial real estate.
The city provides land plots at a preferential rate as part of the implementation of large-scale investment projects. Objects with such status contribute to the creation of jobs in different areas of Moscow and the development of the capital’s infrastructure.
Since 2020, as part of the program to stimulate the creation of employment opportunities, the Moscow Government has concluded more than 140 agreements with investors, which involve the construction of over six million square meters of real estate, including new industrial enterprises, office and retail facilities, educational, cultural and sports institutions.
In total, over 2.2 trillion rubles will be attracted to the development of the city and the creation of employment opportunities. As a result, more than 300 thousand jobs will appear in almost all sectors of the capital’s economy.
